Always made fresh in front of you with soft tasty bread. Sandwiches and Soups are delicious. I never forget to grab a large homemade cookie that is so good it just melts in your mouth. Well worth it. Keep up on the friendly service and great food.

Extremely busy at all times it seems like. But well worth it, it's noticably better than Subway, Jimmy Johns, etc. Always impressed on how smooth and fast they are as well.

Obees is one of my fave sandwich shops! Fresh bread, they cut everything there in front of you, the soup is delicious, and the cookies are so good! It's good every time!

Great locally owned sub shop with delicious soups and salads too. Bread is brought in fresh daily and is a trademark of the shop. The Spicy Bird is my favorite.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant and craving their sandwiches. We live in Port Charlotte and called at 4 to see what time they close, they said they close at 5. We drove all the way to the shop and got the at 4:46 exactly. They had the sign flipped to say they were closed and the doors locked. There were two girls working to close up so it had nothing to do with the pandemic. If they planned on closing early they could have said over the phone so we didn’t dive all this way.

Love this place, I could eat here 3x a week easy and actually have. Good food, very fairly priced and GOOD sweet tea!

My favorite lunch spot! I always get the Big M and usually a cookie too. Anything you get from obees is delicious though.

Sandwich was huge! It's a little hard to judge a deli sandwich; they're pretty much either uninspiring and actually ruined or wrong in some way or just delightful. This was a 10/10 delightful sandwich. I will definitely be back!

Great place for subs, always have enjoyed going to their location and getting a freshly made sub. The bread is the best and the thinly sliced meats makes me want this place to NEVER go away.

I have to say. When it comes to a great sandwich, this is the place. Meats and cheese are cut in front of you and bread is made daily. Must try their sub dressing.

Call for a take out order last week order at 345 they couldn't deliver because it was too close to 4 o'clock Now I call at 3:15 and they stopped delivering The lady on the phone says they close at 5 but their website says they close at 6

Hour and a half till close, delivery right across the street, just wanted a sub and drink, couldnt help me. Poor attitude, could definitely tell it was a Monday. Will have to rethink my frequent visits.

Obie's has the best subs that my husband and I have ever had.. the bread is the freshest, they don't skimp on meat and veggies. .both the Island and south Venice locations. Thanks Obie's.

I've gone here for years. The food is so fresh and good. Really good price. The most impressive thing to me is that they are always fully staffed and very friendly!

Decent sub selection, very tasty and fresh array of ingredients. The potato soup wasn't what I hoped for. Friendly staff. They also sell cookies and Pibb.
